Generate valid /etc/systemd/system/*.service files for Node.js, Python, Go, or custom Linux daemons with ready-to-use systemctl setup commands.
If the service restarts more than {{ startLimitBurst }} times within {{ startLimitIntervalSec }}s, systemd stops trying instead of looping forever on a permanently-broken command.
Space-separated unit names. Requires stops this service if the dependency fails or stops; Wants starts it alongside without that hard coupling.
Space-separated KEY=value pairs; wrap a value in quotes if it contains spaces, e.g. GREETING="hello world". Each becomes its own Environment= line.
The same safe baseline for Node.js, Python or Go — systemd sandboxing works at the OS level, not the language level. A preset only fills in a typical ExecStart placeholder and turns hardening on; it never restricts network access, since the whole point of these runtimes is almost always running a network service.
Working Directory is added to ReadWritePaths= automatically — otherwise strict mode would silently block the app from writing to its own directory.
Systemd is the standard init system for Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, RHEL, Fedora) responsible for bootstrapping user-space daemons and managing background processes.
Everything is generated locally in your browser as you edit the fields above. Nothing you configure here is saved between visits — copy or download the unit file before leaving the page.
