The preview renders GitHub-flavored Markdown live via marked — tables, task lists, strikethrough and fenced code blocks all work. Editor and preview scrolling stay synchronized by relative document position.
The toolbar inserts or wraps Markdown syntax around your selection (or a placeholder if nothing's selected); Ctrl/⌘+B, I and K work as shortcuts for bold, italic and link.
Open .md loads a file from disk (drag it onto the editor works too) — loading is itself undoable, just like any toolbar action. Outline lists every heading in the document and jumps the editor cursor and the preview scroll position to it. Drag the divider between the two panes (or use the arrow keys once it's focused, Home to reset) to change the split — it's remembered for next time.
